Dust 2 is one of the most popular maps in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It is also a map that many players struggle to play well on, as it can be difficult to make good decisions about where and when to use smoke grenades. In this blog post, we will discuss Best Smoke Spots Dust 2 Made Simple: What You Need to Know.
In this blog post, we are going to talk about some of the most popular spots for smoke grenades on Dust II. It’s important that you have an understanding of all the possible smokes so that when it comes time for game play, you can make informed decisions as quickly as possible. Let’s start with Long A from catwalk! First off, let me show you how long A looks like before I throw any type of grenade onto it:
At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be much different between these two images. But, what you can’t see is that I was able to throw a smoke grenade onto catwalk from the red car and block off any CTs’ long A push! This would have been much more difficult for me if Long A had another set of boxes blocking it like in this picture:
This strategy works best when going against T-spawners because they will be cutting through the choke point on Catwalk to get into B site (a lot of Smokes are used in this area). Best Smoke Spots Dust Best Made Simple What You Need To Know?
In order to execute your smoke grenades well, you need an understanding not only about how they work but also where each one should be thrown. For example, if you’re on the Terrorist side, Catwalk is a very popular place for CTs to push onto. However, if there are boxes blocking it off in this picture:
the only way they can get through is by coming up behind these boxes and pushing into Long A (which means that our entry point becomes much more open). Best Smoke Spots Dust Best Made Simple What You Need To Know?
The most important thing to know about smokes is that they will be cut through by the CTs in order to get into our site. This means it’s a good idea to throw them at choke points such as Catwalk, which is often where the Terrorists push onto from B site (due to how much easier it becomes for CTs). If we’re on the terrorist side and there are boxes blocking off Catwalk like so:
The CTs will need to push through those boxes in order to enter our site, which means we can also get a lot of kills by throwing smokes off the back wall.
In this article I’ll be going over some basic tips and tricks for using smokes on maps such as Cache, Mirage and Inferno. We all know that these are very popular places for Terrorists to take control but there is often a lack of knowledge about how they should go about doing so.
There are plenty of different smoke grenades you could buy when playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive but not every one has its own strengths.
