I have a friend who is a great photographer, so I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that. If you see him around your area, go take a photo of him. It’s one of my favorite things.
The photo is a combination of two images, one of Krishna, and one of God. The image of God is taken from a painting by Sir John Millais (1845-1910) in London, England. It had been published in a book of the same name, with the title of “The Death of a Chance”. It shows a man and woman embracing, the man’s head resting on the woman’s shoulder.
Millais was a British print illustrator who was a contemporary of the likes of Rembrandt, Constable, and Gainsborough. He was a talented painter, but his work was often overshadowed by the likes of watercolors, oils, and pastels. He had a very distinctive style, with many different techniques in play. This one is a pastel, with the woman in the foreground standing in a flower bed.
The man who is holding the woman’s head is called Lord Krishna. Krishna is often depicted with a white turban and a long beard. He’s also known for wearing a red and gold sari. I can’t get enough of his face.
The man in the foreground is Lord Krishna. Like many of the other characters who appear in the game, Krishna is said to be “god, savior, and teacher.” His art style is more popularly known in Hinduism as Vaishnava, which means “good” and “goodness.
Krishna is the god of the netherworld, the world of the dead. He is often pictured with a moustache and wearing a red and gold garb. Krishna also is the god of the ocean, the creator of the water element, the creator of the earth element, and the creator of the air element.
The guy who is credited as being the god of the netherworld, Krishna, is also the god of the ocean, the creator of the water element, the creator of the earth element, and the creator of the air element. That is, of course, in the context of the sea, the netherworld, and the land, respectively.
Krishna is one cool god. But here’s the thing, he’s also the avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, who is also the god of the sea, the netherworld, and the land. So you’re going to need to do some homework on Hindu deities if you’re going to worship this guy. A lot.
Vishnu, the Hindu god of the sea, the netherworld, and the land, is the god of the ocean, the creator of the water element, and the creator of the earth element. So you should probably know his name.
